What Every Women Should Know about the Law
June 11, 2008, 6:30-8:00pm

Join attorneys Michelle Raymond and Jennifer Taddeo for an eye-opening program.  Learn practical tips about how the law effects women in their various roles from daughter to business owner.  Get answers to questions such as: “What’s the best way to protect my family’s assets in the event of a medical crisis?”  or “How do I prevent a legal misunderstanding?”  Common misconceptions about family and estate planning are discussed and basic planning techniques are explained.  This information will save women time, money and emotional energy later on.

EXPLORE ENGINEERING

What better way to explore engineering than by doing a fun project.  All projects will become part of the Envision Engineering exhibit.  Each project will be put on display at the Museum.  We will let you know when your project will be displayed so you can invite family and friends to come see it.  This is an ongoing project through August 2008.  Projects will be displayed through December 2008.

How can you get involved?
Research an engineer or engineering project.  To showcase your findings:

  • write a report
  • create a poster
  • make a shadow box
  • create a display board

These are just some ideas of what you can do.  The creative part is up to you.  Have fun exploring engineers and how they have contributed to our world.  Please contact us when your project is complete.
