Dr. Karen Panetta, professor at Tufts University created the “Breaking the Stigmas and Stereotypes of Women in Engineering and Science: The Nerd Girls Project.”  The program encourages young girls to pursue engineering and science careers and shows all young children that Engineers are cool and very talented.
